Many of us have transferred or tested at the major DNA testing companies, so we log directly in to find our matches. Only about 20% of people from each company upload to GedMatch, so that's like looking at only 20% of your matches. GedMatch's best feature is its tools. They have different admixture tools for those who want to play around with their ethnicity estimates. They have a chromosome browser and the "Are your parents related?" too. They have some really neat Tier 1 tools (you pay a fee). They have different phasing tools, the Lazarus tool, My Evil Twin tool, and many others. I haven't had time to explore their tools, I'm too busy running the Azores DNA Project (and life). Which tools have you used and which do you find the most helpful?
