In addition to Petr's comment, you need to get a different Hebrew starting point. The PDF you mentioned had silly stuff in it like shibber for shibbar (note the correct MT vocalization for this verb ! ), and as if meaning 'put something in a state of having been broken', as if that differed from the qal 'break something'. like "hishbir" = 'God caused Moses to break the tablets'. hishbir means 'trade grain', and 'to bring to crisis 'breaking point', apparently not 'to cause someone else to break something' and the idea of an 'internal reflexive hif`il' as a second hif`il binyan looks like somebody's bad dream. a hif`il is a hif`il, end of story, [there actually was a -t- infix (like the 'hit in pi``el column) causative in Hebrew and other languages, but that was hishtaHava in Hebrew or istaf`al in Arabic.
