Actually, a participle 'adjectivises' a verb, rather than 'nouns' it. Technically, a participle is a verbal adjective—the prosopic union between a verb and and adjective.
Notice how, in Exod 1.1, the participle modifies the noun 'sons'. GEORGE ATHAS Moore Theological College (Sydney, Australia) www.moore.edu.au _______________________________________________ b-hebrew mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ibiblio.org/mailman/listinfo/b-hebrew
