HAZUY in hebrew slang is "crazy, surreal, fantastic, incredible".
and so is b-hebrew at times...  :)

...returning from the virtual world to reality, i really think the question
of the "grammatically correct" form of EXAD is meaningless since EXAD
is so much older than hebrew grammar and the xataf-patax. if indeed the
archaic form was AXAD, or even XAD, it sure had a good reason to become
EXAD so as to be distinguished from AXAT (feminine) and later 
on from AXAD (smikhut). so, when the xataf-patax was invented, EXAD 
was already stuck in its irregular position.
