The Unicode/XML Westminster Leningrad Codex at

<http://www.tanach.us/Tanach.xml>

advocates and provides non-proprietary file formats. However, users of
Microsoft Word can obtain Tanach files in the Microsoft .doc format by
means of the FREE OpenOffice application.

Save the desired Tanach file as an OpenOffice .odt file on your
machine. Then open the file with OpenOffice. Use the "File:Save As.."
command to save it, specifying the File type as "Microsoft Word
97/2000/XP (.doc)". The resulting file will open with a variety Word
applications and Windows systems.

Word 2010 users can convert the .doc results to Microsoft .docx format
from Word 2010 via the "File:Save As" command choosing "Word Document
(*.docx)".
