B-Hebrew uses software that if you only hit reply from an email client, it 
sends directly to the person, and not the list.  Most software sends 
directly to the list, but not the Unix program (I assume) that runs 
B-Hebrew.  The sender has to hit "reply all" or take some other such step to 
ensure that the message goes to the list and not just the recipient.  I'm 
sure that's what happened with the message from Karl - it almost happened 
with this message until I double checked...  :)
