With apologies for the cross-postings:
Eisenbrauns is delighted to introduce the newest member of the Eisenbrauns
team, Andrew Knapp, our new Acquisitions Editor and Marketing Director. Andrew
comes to us from The Johns Hopkins University, where he has just completed his
Ph.D. on the topic "Royal Apologetic in the Ancient Near East" (he will be
presenting a paper on this topic at the Chicago SBL meetings, in the Hebrew
Scriptures and Cognate Literature section, on Sunday afternoon). Prior to
attending Johns Hopkins, Andrew completed an M.T.S. at the University of Notre
Dame; his undergraduate education was at Seattle Pacific University. During his
graduate study, he also worked for the Royal Inscriptions of the Neo-Assyrian
Period as a research and editorial assistant. He has also participated in
archaeological work in Israel for two seasons, at Tel Hazor.

Andrew, his wife Kandace, and one-year-old daughter Evangeline have just moved
to Winona Lake, and we're pleased to have them as members of our community and
as a part of the publishing team at Eisenbrauns. He'll be joining us at the
ASOR and AAR/SBL meetings, where he's already been an active participant for
the past few years. You will want to come by the Eisenbrauns booths to meet
Andrew. And, of course, he'll be available to discuss publications and projects
of interest, and you're welcome to send prospectuses and manuscript ideas to
him. You can reach Andrew at [email protected].

Visit Eisenbrauns Facebook page for a photograph of Andrew and join the
conversation happening there:

Enjoy!
