I think that "foolish arrogance" is befitting.

Dear All:
I question about one word here נפשׁ NP$, but it makes a big
difference.

The LXX translates it as ψυχη but the context and form indicate
that this should be a niphal verb. If so, what would be its
meaning? Would it be related to פושׁ PW$ “to paw out” found
in Jeremiah 50:11? Or a verb from the same root as פשׁ P$
“foolish arrogance” found in Job 35:15?
What do you all think?
