Dear James:
This word is related in hierogliphics with a complete ayin (a
semicircle engraved) and a beetle, for example in a cartouche of
tutankhamon.
Their transliteration (ayin báyit), who guards de house, means
kaleb, due to the use of dogs in ancients, but in a positive sense, the
pharoah is a men who guards the entire house of Egypt, and their culture.
The concept of servant, includes the Pharaoh himself in the service of the
temple, he is the first servant.
Greetings from Benidorm, Antonio Garcia Hurtado.
