It depends, Chee, on whether the BHQ volume for the book you are doing your 
research on has been issued yet. But I know some scholars prefer (or preferred) 
to work from BHK (the edition before BHS) - it had more textual variants, I 
believe. BHS bought the Dead Sea Scroll readings. Presumably BHQ will have 
improved on that as more work has been done the DSS. But only a few books have 
been published yet.
