Thanks to all the list members who commented on the
<http://www.tanach.us> features that might be eliminated.

The only feature having no support was the random verses RSS feed.
Unless someone argues otherwise, this feature will be removed in the
next version.

Some members surprisingly did use materials in the
<http://www.tanach.us/Tanach.xml#Supplements> directory. The
Michigan-Claremont to Unicode coding converter contained in the
directory, however, seems obsolete and will be eliminated in the next
version, pending user comments.

Most list members do not value the Documentary Hypothesis (DH) feature.
Indeed, one member characterized the entire site as being a DH site and
not worth examining. DH materials are also subjective content in a site
dedicated to objective representation of the Tanach. DH materials take
up a lot of space and introduce quite a bit of complexity; thus, DH is a
tempting feature for consolidation. However, my personal understanding
is that the DH is a part of modern bible study and should be retained.

Thanks for your comments,
