Bonjour à tous, A l'occasion de la Fête de la Science 2009, un réseau wifi Babel éphémère sera installé sur le campus de l'université Paris Diderot. Ce réseau devrait comporter au moins une demi-douzaine de noeuds Babel variés (Fonera, WRT54GL, EEE PC, etc.) et une démonstration d'un outil de visualisation des voisins développé par Pejman Attar and Alexis Rosovsky. L'objectif premier est une vulgarisation des principes de Babel à destination du grand public (et en particulier des scolaires), mais nous accueillerons avec plaisir des hackers confirmés pour des discussions plus techniques. Vous pouvez bien sûr apportez vos portables pour participer au réseau. Les 18, 19 et 20 novembre 2009, de 10h à 18h. This network should be composed of at least half a dozen various Babel nodes (Fonera, WRT54GL, EEE PC, etc.). It will feature a demo of a tool, developped by Pejman Attar and Alexis Rosovsky, to display a graphical representation of the neighbours of a given node. The primary goal of this event is to give some intuition to the general public about what Babel is and how it works, but we would be glad to welcome some skilled hackers too, for more technical discussions.
