Dear all,

For more information about the Babel routing protocol, please see

  http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/babel/

This is the first release of the 1.2.0 branch, which includes babelz, an
implementation of a radio frequency-aware variant of Babel. Please see
the description of the -z flag in the manual page; for background
information, please see my slides available on

  http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/babel/wbmv4.pdf

As compared to the previous release candidate (1.1.99.1), this fixes
a buffer overflow (not remotely exploitable), and implements MAC address
detection for BSD Unix. Both of these are due to Matthieu Boutier, to
whom thanks.

Enjoy,

-- Juliusz
