Whilst not suggesting SVG as a practical way of delivering this, I did wonder why it was in flash since it appears to use no functionality that flash brings that js does not (unless there's a socket updating the views for the people who leave it open in a tab over some period of time). But then I figured it's a beta and there's probably functionality still to come (video is listed as not yet available). The contrast is a fair point, you can't tab around inside it either so it's mouse only too. Perhaps accessibility is to come later also.
