Hi all On the Introducing project we¹re building, inter alia (I love that phrase!), a BBC internal tool for playing UGC music tracks submitted online. For system compatibility reasons we have to handle wavs (RadioMan doesn¹t accept mp3s) and we¹ve been warned off conversion because of IP.
When we thought we were dealing with mp3s we built the internal tool using the EMP, which is nicely developed and familiar and on message ;) Unfortunately though it borks on wavs for good reason I guess cause we¹d rather be pumping smaller files out over the web, which is the EMP¹s primary purpose. Does anyone know a way round this? Or a decent alternative player that¹s wav-happy? Ta.
