Hi David,

I was hoping someone would have a go at a google earth implementation. he
stories are a bit geographically disperse at the moment, but it's looking
great.

Cheers,

Subject: [backstage] GoogleEarth

Haven't seen anyone do anything with Google Earth yet, so I've set up a BBC
World News RSS feed to it. URL is:

http://www.converj.com/demos/newsglobe.kmz

You'll need Google Earth to view it. Download from:

http://earth.google.com/

I'll see if I can add images and a few more feeds. I think that Google Earth
may be the better browsing tool than GoogleMaps, with GoogleMaps better
suited to targeted locations/information. Of course one day they'll
merge....
