it's not just you

 

www.bbc.co.uk (and the same applies for news.bbc) will resolve to a different range of ip addresses over time.  It does change, and relatively frequently.

 

I'd advise you to use the domain name : cache it for a period if you want, but I wouldn't stick to a single ip for any length of time without re-checking the dns.

Does anybody know what the IP addresses for the feeds is? Every day I do a ping and find it's changed. It's usually around

 

212.58.240.143

although I've seen it go to x.x.x.144 and x.x.x.145.
