A 'NewsDeck' of sorts. Fully customisable, draggy droppy, ajax and/or flash orgy of info.
It could be as mashed up or as normal as you like.
preferences, searches , results etc could all get stored locally, to a point with cookies, moving to a remote membership db if needed for extra 'stuff'.
I would be depend how 'integrated' the idea was. better to keep it as decentralised as possible, and make sure the apps are 'loosely coupled' to the data, for scalability.
now, that would be neat ;)

I want to use it to start developing a tag system for it and get my head around best practices for folksonomy database design.
