The Yahoo! - TiVo deal has set off all sorts of rumour-mongering. It looks like a little bit of a pain to set up. Both Leo and I have EyeTV's (http://www.elgato.com/index.php?file=products_eyetvmain) and we have a little script which polls mightyv and uses AppleScript to call EyeTV.app (and thus records MPEG2 onto our computers). It's a bit hacky though. We've been wondering what do to, but I do think a MythTV (think TiVo but open source) plugin might be good.
