Can you tell us which actual feed you are requesting, what your user agent string is, and what ISP you are coming through? I might be able to check out whether it is any at our end. It really should be fine though, the problem might be at your ISP or some firewall somewhere. Also, what error message are you getting when the feed fails? Another idea could be to try using feeds.bbc.co.uk/(...) instead of www.bbc.co.uk/(...) Actually,. It would be great if you could all start doing this! It's nicer for our stats system and gives us the opportunity to move the serving of our feeds to a different server setup in the future.
