I'm not sure if this is the right place to propose stuff, but I'll give it
ago. Would it be possible to investigate providing a tide (as in the sea
etc) RSS feed. I know that the UK Hydrographic Office own the copyright to
the data (really just the input to the equations that calculate the data)
but they do currently offer the next 6/7 days for free on their site and the
BBC's site.
I can think of lots of websites that would love to have the short range tide
information intragrated into their site (my hobby is windsurfing so tides
are of interest).
I'm guessing that tide data might be even harder to get than the weather
data feed, but I would love to be proved wrong.

ps - I do rate the backstage project, it is a really good idea and a nice
knod to the outside world that they can help improve/enhance/enrich the
world with a little (probably quite a lot) of support from the BBC. Top
dollar :)
