Hi Helen, The reason you're getting these emails is that you're subscribed to the Backstage mailing list from http://backstage.bbc.co.uk/ - although it's currently down right now.
They are not addressed to you personally, they're sent to the entire list. The only way you can have been added to the Backstage mailing list is if you deliberately signed up, or if the BBC added your address to the list. The latter is unlikely, so it might be that at some point in the past you subscribed, and then forgot about it. To unsubscribe, you should follow the link at the bottom of each email you receive, where it says: =========== - Sent via the backstage.bbc.co.uk discussion group. To unsubscribe, please visit http://backstage.bbc.co.uk/archives/2005/01/mailing_list.html. Unofficial list archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ =========== The unsubscribe link currently won't work as the site is down, but as soon as it's back up you should be able to follow it and unsubscribe yourself from the list. I hope this helps. - Ciaran. - Sent via the backstage.bbc.co.uk discussion group. To unsubscribe, please visit http://backstage.bbc.co.uk/archives/2005/01/mailing_list.html.
