To avoid flashing adverts and due to the fact I have no need for it. I don't mind web advertising so don't use a blocker but not having flash blocks out 90% of the really bad stuff. Flash only really makes sense for games and I don't play them online. I do have it installed for IE (Firefox is my main browser) but only for CBeebies :-) !!
