Launched in 2005, backstage.bbc.co.uk provides a legal framework and tools for users to re-use BBC content as part of the BBC's attempt to have a more open dialogue with the wider development community. It currently provides a range of data, resources and support for users who wish to build prototypes and proofs of concepts using BBC material.
