Hi All, I've finally made it back from the north of England. Had a very good time in Newcastle and Leeds.
But I was made aware of two nice technologies which might be useful for Backstage Prototypes in the future. First up is Comet which is basically a server push without any client interaction. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comet_(programming) And the second one is Adobe's Apollo. Which is a cross-OS runtime that allows developers to leverage their existing web development skills (Flash, Flex, HTML, Ajax) to build and deploy desktop Rich Internet Apps.
