I too agree with Tom, it all depends how you read into the data. Other
details would be when the data was collected, and from what areas of the
country, and what broadband uptake is like in the area.
I also think that the article is far too slanted towards youtube and
similar services, when the poll appears to be broader, video from the
internet for many is not likely to be stuff from youtube in my opinion.
Finally, I would be more interested in figures for the numbers of people
who still watch various programmes live. I'm sure that DVD recorders, PC
cards, and downloads from the internet may have had a fairly large
effect on time shifting.
Anyone else got more thoughts in this direction?

and it's claimed data, which is notoriously unreliable when you ask
people if they do something they perceive as being aspirational (which
is why you get those surveys saying a third of the UK has a blog...)
