IIRC the Heritage site was revamped and greatly extended. http://www.bbc.co.uk/heritage/index.shtml 70 years is an odd one though - 75 seems a slightly more obvious one to celebrate which would be my guess as to why not much was done. - Sent via the backstage.bbc.co.uk discussion group.
