I finally got around to installing the latest iPlayer beta and I have to say that I'm actually quite impressed with the whole system compared to the last beta I used. Using IE rather than an special embedded browser is a considerable improvement.
And I'm impressed that if you set up the iPlayer on multiple machines they correctly - and quickly - transfer programmes between one-another rather from the external Internet. I was wondering if the programme information is available as RSS feeds - it would be nice to add a "now on iPlayer" feed to iGoogle or to another site... Brian Butterworth
