I can't imagine it would be difficult to get hold of a list of suppliers of BBC programming (in the annual report? FOI act request? Phone the commissioning dept?), then you could just ask the companies themselves (or their PR?) what their opinion on iPlayer and DRM is.
FOI act won't help you here though, there is stuff in it to stop details of business relationships getting out.
