He comes across to me as someone with a lot of experience, and with some consistent principles and strong opinions associated with the craft of programming. I think if you could align an NDA with his principles, you probably wouldn't have a problem. However, I think it's also fair to say that he doesn't suffer fools gladly, and even though I've learned the value of tact in business over the years, I can't say I've learned to suffer fools any better myself.
