Without further ado... (and a quick htaccess file rewriterule)... http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/opml/bbc_podcast_opml.opml
Will give you the same contents as the .xml file. Yes - Carlos (who works on the Podcast tool at News Interactive here) and I had been discussing your OPML. This was part of the reason for posting to Backstage as this feed has been available for about 6 months to syndicators that we've been using to get the data. I was going to post it here once I was confident we weren't going to change the OPML and we could actually say for certain that it was going to be supported properly. ;-) Alan -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Phil Wilson Sent: 14 March 2008 11:42 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [backstage] OPML feed available - aggregation of podcast feeds. > Could you "trick" it with a 302/301 redirect or does it check the > *destination* URLs name? I don't think so. IIRC it will handle redirects for the actual feed URLs but not the OPML URL. I'll check later. Of course, I'm still happy with my own version http://philwilson.org/blog/2008/02/bbc-podcasts-as-opml ;) Phil - Sent via the backstage.bbc.co.uk discussion group.
