Quick question...

I was reliving those old BBC Micro days, because they are doing to do an
exibit at the Science Museum about it. In 1985, after the they brought in
the computerised weather graphics, I wrote a programme for the BBC Micro
that was published in the May 1985 Personal Computer World, called
"Weatherwise" after seeing a short programme about how they were created on
BBC 1 (perhaps 2).

I can remember that it was a Quantel Paintbox that did the colour graphics,
but my programme aped the monoschome "workstation" that was used to created
the graphics?

Does anyone know what these workstations were? Were they Xerox machine?

Also, If anyone also knows where I can get a copy of the 1985 PCW, I would
be really grateful - someone chucked my collection in the bin.

Cheers

PS: Nice to see my name (which was after the BBC Micro word processor
Wordwise) got reused! http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/weatherwise/
