Thanks that is excellent, and I have now found a mention of it in the BBC R+D Annual Report 2007, but I can't find anywhere what the test refers to... the implication is that it is post-switch-over strength, but there seems to be no actual publication, which is a bit strange for BBC R+D. The recent BBC R+D white paper on high frame rate HDTV is very interesting indeed.
