That's a useful set of links - thanks! I'd looked at feeds.bbc.co.uk a while back for my purposes, but found a slight problem in that there's no link to the mediaselector, so you'd have to parse the <id> tag to get the PID (hoping the format of the tag doesn't change!) in order to get RealAudio links. Perhaps it may be time for me to reconsider that...
This does illustrate one of the slight problems with mashing BBC data - there's so many feeds to choose from, and it's not clear which are official and stable feeds, vs experimental and/or obsolete. So far I know of, have used, or am using: feeds.bbc.co.uk/iplayer www.bbc.co.uk/programmes www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/4/mtis/stream www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/playlist Some have differing purposes, and I'm sure several of these were only ever supposed to be internal, but it would be nice to know which particular feeds we should or shouldn't be using for our experimentation. ________________________________ Andrew Dancy, Partner, Reincubate E: and...@reincubate.com, T: +44 (0) 7941 434132 Accelerating growth of start-up & entrepreneurial businesses -----Original Message----- From: owner-backst...@lists.bbc.co.uk [mailto:owner-backst...@lists.bbc.co.uk] On Behalf Of Phil Lewis Sent: 22 January 2009 14:22 To: backstage@lists.bbc.co.uk Subject: RE: [backstage] Yahoo Widget for BBC radio and Listen Again content Hi, In get_iplayer I've used the following feed for all the channel (and category) names listed below: http://feeds.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/<channel>/list/limit/400 Regards Phil Lewis Channels: bbc_one bbc_two bbc_three bbc_four cbbc cbeebies bbc_news24 bbc_parliament bbc_one_northern_ireland bbc_one_scotland bbc_one_wales bbc_webonly bbc_hd bbc_alba categories/news/tv categories/sport/tv categories/tv categories/signed bbc_1xtra bbc_radio_one bbc_radio_two bbc_radio_three bbc_radio_four bbc_radio_five_live bbc_radio_five_live_sports_extra bbc_6music bbc_7 bbc_asian_network bbc_radio_foyle bbc_radio_scotland bbc_radio_nan_gaidheal bbc_radio_ulster bbc_radio_wales bbc_radio_cymru bbc_world_service categories/radio bbc_radio_cumbria bbc_radio_newcastle bbc_tees bbc_radio_lancashire bbc_radio_merseyside bbc_radio_manchester bbc_radio_leeds bbc_radio_sheffield bbc_radio_york bbc_radio_humberside bbc_radio_lincolnshire bbc_radio_nottingham bbc_radio_leicester bbc_radio_derby bbc_radio_stoke bbc_radio_shropshire bbc_wm bbc_radio_coventry_warwickshire bbc_radio_hereford_worcester bbc_radio_northampton bbc_three_counties_radio bbc_radio_cambridge bbc_radio_norfolk bbc_radio_suffolk bbc_radio_essex bbc_london bbc_radio_kent bbc_southern_counties_radio bbc_radio_oxford bbc_radio_berkshire bbc_radio_solent bbc_radio_gloucestershire bbc_radio_swindon bbc_radio_wiltshire bbc_radio_bristol bbc_radio_somerset_sound bbc_radio_devon bbc_radio_cornwall bbc_radio_guernsey bbc_radio_jersey On Thu, 2009-01-22 at 11:45 +0000, adancy+backst...@gmail.com wrote: > Ray, > > I've done similar work myself for www.iplayerconverter.co.uk > (including a Now and Next Google Gadget I really must get round to > updating).
