Those of us at The Guardian who are using Windows machines still have MS Office as part of our build, rather than OpenOffice. We also all have access though to a Google-Apps-For-Your-Enterprise that goes across Guardian News & Media, so regardless of whether you are using Mac or Windows it is easy to share documents inside and outside of the corporate firewall.
Mail serverwise on WIndows - Notes/Domino.
