Handy tip that many people don't know about. Wrap longish
URLs in angular brackets
E.g.
<http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bbcinternet/2010/01/freeview_hd_co
ntent_mana
ement.html>
Most email clients won't do line breaks in it (waits the
inevitable failing of this to work)
[Sigh]
Just to find out what's doing this, for no good reason, here
are three text links that, when I send e-mail to myself via
our mail provider, don't get folded:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bbcinternet/2010/01/freeview_hd_content_management.html
<http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bbcinternet/2010/01/freeview_hd_content_management.html>
<url:http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bbcinternet/2010/01/freeview_hd_content_management.html>
(But then, I have my mail client's 'Wrap plain text' column set at 9999.)
