For me, it's important to be able to post via the gmane interface. As long as that works, I'm fine with it.
I need to be able to post this way because sourceforge doesn't seem to get my e-mails and doesn't send them to me either. I know that I've not yet been an active participant, but I do hope to do my feature requests at least.
