Hi, I've just set up backuppc and have a host configured. Successfully
backup one with a full backup and 3 incrementals.
Now I need to configure the archiving but I've found the docs to be a
little less than helpful. I created the archive host in the data/pc
directory, added it to the host file and created a config.pl file for
the archive host with the $Conf{XferMethod}='archive'; line.
I could really use a little guidance in the best way to configure the
archiving for the following setup:
I've got two x86 laptop users, two mac laptop users and two desktop x86
users. I would very much like to maintain the cgi interface so that
they can restore thier own files when necessary as well as have a weekly
archive of dvd's that can be moved offsite.
Any and all input would be very very appreciated.
btw - as far as I can tell so far this software rules and many thanks to
Craig for spending so many hours on this!!!
