httpd is running as user Apache and BackupPC_Admin script is owned by backuppc:users...Is this the problem? If I change the user apache should run as backuppc in httpd.conf...do I have to change any permissions anywhere? Pl give chmod/chown command if any is required...www root is /var/www/html. FAQ suggestion: add some hints about finding out if mod_perl is installed as a separate mod (finding out if mod_perl is compiled in is already there)...in my case Centos 4.2 ...yum list mod_perl Sanjay. > sperl status: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ locate sperl > /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi/CORE/sperl.o > > Getting the following error on: > http://192.168.200.5/cgi-bin/BackupPC_Admin/BackupPC_Admin > > Apache error log extract: > [Thu Nov 24 17:49:17 2005] [error] [client 192.168.200.24] > (13)Permission denied : exec of '/var/www/cgi-bin/BackupPC_Admin' failed > [Thu Nov 24 17:49:17 2005] [error] [client 192.168.200.24] Premature end > of script headers: BackupPC_Admin > > Please advise what to do. > > With regards. > Sanjay. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
