Just use this source package and rebuild it, it should work. It's what I'm
using at my work. I'm not reponsible if you loose data though ;-)

I've joined a "nosource" package to reduce the attachment to its minimum as
you can download the main source on the website.

1) rpm -i backuppc-2.1.2-2crm.nosrc.rpm
2) download BackupPC-2.1.2.tar.bz2 and put this in the rpm SOURCE directory
3) goto the rpm SPEC directory
4) rpm -bb backuppc.spec
5) urpmi <the resulting file>

PS: If you want to build a source RPM, remove the "NoSource: 0" line in the
spec file and do a:
rpm -bs backuppc.spec

PPS: The package creates the following link for admin convenience:
/etc/backuppc -> ../var/lib/backuppc/conf/

PPPS: this package may not be fully Mandriva compliant or rpmlint compliant, I
only build it for my work use, but if it can help, they, here it is.

Best regards.
