Recently I start to encounter errors of the following kind
Unable to open /var/backups/pc/<snip>/new/f%2fhome%2fjan/f trentven.gif for
writing
Botch, no matches on /var/backups/pc/<snip>/new/f%2fhome%2fjan/f

Unable to open /var/backups/pc/<snip>/new/f%2fhome%2fjan/f#*mail*#18029UMx#
for writing
Botch, no matches on
/var/backups/pc/<snip>/new/f%2fhome%2fjan/f#*mail*#18029UMx#

other files are for example, f#*mail*#17713N-F#, attrib, f#.mailrc#, ...
It appears with typical files containing #,*,spaces and so on, but attrib is
also a common one.
I use rsync over ssh to transfer the data (rsync version 2.6.6 protocol
version 29)
Could it be an rsync problem? Is there a way you know how to solve it?
