I was wondering if anyone knows how the MB/s statistics are generated?
Mainly I am wondering if it is simply The amount of time taken for the backup / the size of the backup set.
Also If anyone who works on backuppc is watching, one idea for a slight extension, It would be worth seeing what the time from when the backup starts to when the file transfer begins (In the case of Rsync this seems like it can be a bit of time to build a delta set) then the time taken to transfer the file and the MB/s using that time frame......
Anyone else got any thoughts on this?
