The Volume Shadow Copy Service was only introduced with Windows 2003 Server/Windows XP - 2000 has no such facility without purchasing third party glue such as St. Bernard Open File Manager (http://www.stbernard.com/products/ofm/products_ofm.asp). However, if someone knows a technique to shoehorn the Microsoft VSS server service into a Windows 2000 server I'd love to hear about it.
