Hi

Our backuppc disk recently started failing and I have copied as many
files as possible to a new disk, but I am not 100% sure if the files
in cpool have not been damaged. I am wondering, if I do a full backup
of all hosts now, are the files backed up guaranteed to be correct
(i.e., if an old backup file is damaged, would backuppc notice it and
create a new copy, or would it assume the old files are ok)

Or is it better for me to erase the old backups and start afresh?

Thanks very much in advance

Ambrose
