I also checked it with V2.1.2pl2 -- some error. Again after exactly 120 minutes the log says: Executing: /usr/share/backuppc/bin/BackupPC_archiveHost /usr/share/backuppc/bin/BackupPC_tarCreate /usr/bin/split /usr/bin/par2 localhost 7 /bin/gzip .gz 4700000000 /media/usbdisk/backuppc 5 * Xfer PIDs are now 15940 Writing tar archive for host localhost, backup #7, split to output files /media/usbdisk/backuppc/localhost.7.tar.gz.* exiting after signal ALRM Archive failed: aborted by signal=ALRM Another try without splitting the archive and without compression runs fine (51.9 min/~34G). It must have something to do with the run time ... -- Oliver _______________________________________________ BackupPC-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-users http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/
