Hi, I tried to play a little with SSH settings for backups with backup PC and rsync.
I ended with compression level to 5 and blowfish as a cipher but this was a very quick test on my side. Is there anyone who have done some more testing on this ? For exemple is -z of rsync better idea than ssh compression ? Protocol 2 Cipher blowfish Ciphers blowfish-cbc CompressionLevel 5 How does this impact the performance of a backupPC machine ?
