Hi,

I'm thinking of duplicating some backups to an offsite server. It's only
in case of a fire or if the servers are stolen I will need it, so I can
live with the data being a couple of weeks old.

Due to limited bandwidth, I'd prefer not to transfer the entire backup
each time. First I was thinking that I could use BackupPC_ArchiveHost,
and then rsync the gzipped files over. But that uses to much bandwidth,
so I'd rather prefer to restore a backup to a directory on the server
and then rsyncing it to the offsite server. This way I hope not to
transfer to much data (after the initial transfer), and I have the data
easily available in case of a disaster.

But one question, how can I script the restore of a given backup? This
has to be fully automated...

Thanks.

Best regards,
Stian
