A couple of additions :
- looks like it is also happening with some smaller files in the 20MB range
- the very first full rsync backup worked fine, the second did not

We are getting the following errors on what seems to be any files greater
than around 510MB. This only happens with the full backups, the
incrementals work fine. We have one file that is 577MB which gets backed
up fine, but another that is 510MB which does not. The same thing happens
with both our Windows and Linux rsync clients.
