Hi all I had read some previous posts but i didn't found any solution. The problem is that, when i back up Win PC with smb i get this error. Problem occurs only if i backup big file, in my case 10GB file. I had try some hints from list, like patch for smbclient and changing some things in BackupPC_tarExtract, but without success. My smbclient version is 3.0.23c, and backuppc 2.1.0. I think the problem is somwhere in backuppc code, because when i run this command
/usr/bin/smbclient \\\\192.168.15.9\\SQL -U DOMAIN/administrator -E -N -d 1 -c tarmode\ full -Tc /data/backuppc/data/test.tar / then all goes well and this big file is backed up, without any errors. So when output goes to the file everything is fine, but if output goes to the stdout, like in your code then this error occur. Thanx for any hint that may help me P.S.
