Is anyone doing windows backups (including open files) using the volume shadow copy service?
It seems that it shouldn't be too hard to even do bare-metal restores by combining VSS with fileacl or setacl to record & restore NTFS ACLs on files and dirs. Does anyone have a recipe for doing this, before I re-invent the wheel?
